Acceptable Use

Lawful purposes only — You may only use SearchClaw for lawful data collection. Scraping content in violation of applicable laws or website terms is prohibited.

Rate limit compliance — Respect the rate limits of your plan. Circumventing rate limits through multiple accounts or key rotation is grounds for termination.
✓
No abuse — Do not use the service for DDoS, spam, credential stuffing, or any activity that degrades service for others.
Service Availability

Best-effort SLA — We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance windows will be announced in advance.
✓
Third-party dependencies — Search results and extracted content depend on third-party websites. We are not responsible for changes to external sources.
✓
API versioning — Breaking changes will be communicated with at least 30 days notice. Deprecated endpoints remain available for a transition period.
Liability Limitations

As-is service — SearchClaw is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose.
✓
Liability cap — Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
✓
No consequential damages — We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Account Termination

Voluntary closure — You may close your account at any time. All data will be deleted within 30 days per our privacy policy.
✓
Suspension for violations — We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice when practicable.
✓
Non-payment — Accounts with overdue payments may be downgraded to the free plan after 14 days notice.
General
These terms are governed by applicable law. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
